Paper Arts Day - Feb. 08
We had a great day today, laughing and playing with friends from the home school group. Tyler enjoyed showing people how to fold airplanes and tossing them around in the gym. Aleah loved being around all the girls and boys. After this group the children are so at peace with themselves. They sit quietly in the car on the ride home, sort of lost in their thoughts of the fun they had. I noticed today how this group of people, comprised of so many different ages, interests, and faiths can play together with such ease. Each person who came left with a unique experience. There was no certain agenda that everyone had to follow, and those who shared the joy of the moments and activities available left with memories of play and conversation that were very important to him/her. I felt grateful to be part of this and happy to see my kids finding their own space within the group.
